Developing an Equitable and Transparent Compensation Philosophy & Policy

Developing inclusive policies across your organization is one of many pieces to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture. Compensation is the total cash and non-cash payments that you provide to staff in exchange for the work they do for the organization. To set fair and equitable compensation, it’s essential to take time to be clear on your philosophy and develop a transparent policy. The following resource and samples will help you develop strong, fair, and transparent compensation.

TREC is committed to providing new and pertinent information, tools, and samples to meet your Human Resources (HR) needs. Please note that this resource is not intended to be all-inclusive; we make every effort to present thorough and accurate information. However, numerous federal, state and local laws and regulations may vary regarding some of the issues; we encourage all organizations to review local laws and regulations and seek legal counsel when implementing new HR policies and procedures.
