Dear TREC community,

Over the past few weeks, many of you have shared the challenges you’re facing — disruptions to your work, funding, and strategic priorities. We’ve also heard your longing for spaces of care, solidarity, and connection.

We’re here with you. And we’re not going anywhere.

Navigating the uncertainty of volatile situations requires attending to all areas of organizations: your people, your programs, and your funding. TREC offers support in each of these areas, and we are flexing to meet this moment with relevant and responsive resources across all of our offerings, webinars, and programming.

Going forward, TREC will leverage three core strategies to support you in caring for yourself, your team, your work, and your communities:

  1. Mitigate risk – Protocols for increasing digital security and reducing unnecessary exposure
  2. Ensure and sustain – Practices and spaces to support you and your team on topics ranging from funding strategies to sustaining well-being
  3. Vision toward – Paths for honing creativity and discipline to stay focused on your vision and mission by dreaming and delivering new strategies and alliances

Beginning Wednesday March 19th, TREC will be hosting Executive Director Roundtable Discussions to understand and share current challenges and to explore strategies that can support organizational impact and team wellness. We are thrilled to have these sessions hosted by our newest Senior Consultant, Matt Westendorf. Grab your lunch and join us!

Based out of Bozeman, Montana, Matt is an accomplished nonprofit leader with more than 25 years of extensive hands-on experience in nearly all aspects of organizational life in both the US and Canada.

Matt will be providing consulting and resources, as well as hosting our ED Roundtables and other virtual offerings. We look forward to you having the opportunity to meet him!

Resource yourself and each other with connection, support, and simple strategies

To assist you, your organization, and your community as you navigate evolving laws and policies, we have compiled the following resources. While TREC does not offer legal guidance and suggests your organization vet any information shared below through your usual internal legal reviews, we are committed to providing all that we can in support of you, your communities, and those impacted by rapidly changing laws.

We will continue to provide updates on our latest offerings, and always welcome hearing from you with any requests and suggestions.

Take care and stay in touch,

Kristi
