TREC offers several leadership development trainings and opportunities – for executive or senior-level director/managers, for emerging leaders in conservation organizations, and for board leaders.
Senior Leadership Program (SLP)
SLP is designed to address the opportunities and challenges facing leaders of environmental organizations in Western North America that are Wilburforce grantees. Through participation in the program, leaders will broaden their support network, learn powerful, proven skills for managing energy and relationships, be more confident in tackling complex and often difficult relationships, gain insight and tools for strengthening their organization’s culture and more.
Stepping up to Leadership (STEP)
STEP is designed to support the development of emerging leaders in conservation organizations who want to increase their awareness, knowledge, skills, and confidence in effective communication, managing work and staff, and leading projects and people.
New Executive Directors Forum
The new ED Forum provides both an overview of key skills as well as an opportunity to discuss issues and challenges with peers.
Women in Leadership Forum
The Women in Leadership Forum provides an opportunity for recent female graduates of TREC’s STEP or SLP program to be part of an active network of women leaders.
