Operations Director
Lauren Kahn (she/her) is TREC’s Operations Director. Since 2015, Lauren has dedicated her time and talent to keeping all of TREC’s offerings, systems, and internal operations running smoothly. Although originally from the East Coast, Lauren completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Anthropology at the University of California at Berkeley, and now calls Santa Fe, New Mexico her home.
Lauren previously worked in education at a non-profit middle school for girls as a Facilities Manager, PE teacher, and Coach, where she grew to love working for mission-based and socially conscious organizations. She remains passionate about team development and utilizing her natural gifts for streamlining systems and processes and doing the important work of applying policies equitably across the organization.
When Lauren is not at the TREC office, you will most likely find her outside-skiing, biking, barbecuing for friends, or playing with her dogs. She also volunteers for the local mountain biking club and enjoys applying her riding, creative, and organizational/operational skills to build and enrich the experience of the club and its members.
