NVC promotes trail stewardship through volunteer engagement.
The role of the Executive Director is to oversee day to day and long-term management of NVC, provide financial management, lead fundraising in collaboration with the NVC Board, hire and supervise seasonal staff and manage NVC communications. The Executive Director is responsible for maintaining a collaborative working relationship with the Superior National Forest and working closely with other community partners. This position may require periodic travel and reports to the Board Chair of the Board of Directors.
The Executive Director works 20 to 25 hours per week and is a Permanent Part-Time, non-exempt position. Some travel and weekend availability is required. Use of a personal vehicle will be necessary and mileage reimbursement will be provided at the government rate.
