Presented by: Trevor Kaul, TREC
Welcome to our new workshop series designed for anyone who works with volunteers! In this 5-part series we’ll cover all the basics of volunteer engagement including program design, recruitment, management, retention, and leadership development. During each session you’ll get to brush up on the basics, address common challenges, and learn from others working in similar roles.
*This workshop is open to anyone who works with volunteers directly. This workshop a cohort in the sense that we want folks to commit to all the sessions and participants will get to talk/work/learn from other participants
Looking to increase the number of volunteers in your program? Or, are you having trouble finding people with particular skills you need? In session 2 of our volunteer management series we’ll take a deep dive into all things recruitment. Join us for an opportunity to learn about common “best practices” in volunteer recruitment, where your best return on investments may be, and hear from your peers about what is working for them right now!
*This program is made possible by the generous support of Wilburforce Foundation and is offered free of charge.
