Presented by: Trevor Kaul, TREC
Welcome to our new workshop series designed for anyone who works with volunteers! In this 5-part series we’ll cover all the basics of volunteer engagement including program design, recruitment, management, retention, and leadership development. During each session you’ll get to brush up on the basics, address common challenges, and learn from others working in similar roles.
*This workshop is open to anyone who works with volunteers directly. This workshop a cohort in the sense that we want folks to commit to all the sessions and participants will get to talk/work/learn from other participants
In our first session, we’ll be exploring common types of volunteer program design to ensure that they way your program is designed really matches your current needs. Given the always evolving needs of our organizations, and of our volunteer community, this workshop should help you feel more confident in what you’re doing well and where you might tweak things to improve even further.
*This program is made possible by the generous support of Wilburforce Foundation and is offered free of charge.
