Description

Starting out as a new non-profit Executive Director (ED), Co-Ed, or CEO at an organization brings with it many emotions and questions. They can range from excitement with the new role and the many opportunities in front of you, to feelings of overwhelming anxiety about how to manage the workload or what to do with the Board. There is often a sense of not having anyone to talk to about what you are feeling or experiencing either, particularly with respect to feelings of inadequacy or imposter’s syndrome.

You are not alone!

TREC is excited to offer a New Executive Director Series for Executive Directors who are in the first 12 months of their role.

The goal of the New Executive Director Series is to support leaders through the initial transition into their role. Through five workshops and peer discussion, this Series is designed to build an ED’s skills, community, and confidence so that you feel better equipped to take on your new position in the organization.

Participants will learn

  • How to build your skills, community, and confidence so that you feel better equipped to take on your new position in the organization.
