Description

Fundraising for the Future is suited to fund development professionals who are newer to fundraising (less than three years’ experience). We also welcome and encourage participants to bring others, such as other development staff, communications staff, and board members as secondary participants for specific and pertinent topics. For example, the Executive Director and a board leader can attend the session on legacy giving, or a communications staffer can attend the session on online fundraising.

The sessions focus on the fundamentals of a holistic development program, with a concentration on raising more money from individuals and planning a successful annual fundraising program.

One of the most valuable aspects of participation in this workshop series is the opportunity for one-on-one personal consulting sessions. Participants are encouraged to identify one significant project within their current workplan, to have access to one-on-one support from the program faculty.

Our 2025 sessions include practical how-tos with real-life examples and case studies, opportunities to have your organization’s fundraising efforts workshopped, peer learning and group discussion, and tools and resources.

This workshop is open for Wilburforce grantees, all participants must attend all sessions. There is limited space for this session, less than 3 years fundraising experience recommended.

Please be sure to add all sessions to your calendar after registering *One-on-one consultations with Ellie will be scheduled individually before the training begins.
