Board leaders are often thrust into their critical roles without a clear understand of the core principles and strategies of effective governance, and the confidence to lead boldly. This series, which brings together small groups of board leaders through monthly conference calls, helps build confidence and key skills, and is supported by a solid but manageable number of readings. Participants also have access to a robust library of board resources. One of the most effective aspects of this series is the monthly call that each participant will have with one of the TREC staff, in which the board leader can discuss issues and needs relevant to his/her Board and organization.
