Why We Practice Mindfulness Sitting as a Leader, and How

Sitting, a simple form of meditation, as we define it, is a regular (e.g. daily) practice of silently sitting and paying attention to something like our breath. Sitting (mindfulness) has been proven to lower the heart and respiratory rate, increase serotonin levels, support greater mental clarity and focus, and reduce stress.
