Megan Seibel (she/her) became TREC’s Executive Director in 2015. Megan’s focus is on developing TREC’s top-notch staff, creating innovative programs and client services, and leading TREC’s internal Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative. She started her career at TREC in 2005. In her previous position as Associate Director, she oversaw TREC’s Organizational Effectiveness Programs, internal operations, and also served as TREC’s Director of Finance. Megan has over 35 years of nonprofit management experience including twice previously serving as Executive Director. She brings a wealth of grassroots nonprofit experience to TREC. She got her start as a door-to-door canvasser. She has worked on numerous campaigns on a variety of environmental causes at the local, state and national level. Megan has extensive experience with fundraising and financial management and has a passion for assisting clients with organizational sustainability. Her strategic thinking, and her considerable management skills and experience are an asset to TREC and to TREC’s clients. Megan and her family live in Denver, CO. In her spare time, she volunteers with a local animal rescue group, including fostering retrievers of all sorts.
