Ellie’s (she/her/they/them) focus is on supporting our team of consultants and providing organizational effectiveness training, strategic planning, team building, facilitation, Board development, and high-level fundraising consulting. She has been helping clients at TREC since 2009. Ellie dove into the nonprofit ocean when she founded an animal welfare group 25 years ago. Since then she’s served as a leader for animal welfare, wildlife conservation, education, and environmental nonprofits as Executive Director, Development Director, Board member, and an Organizational Development Consultant. Ellie’s passion is helping others; be it client leaders, the Earth or the plants and animals that we share it with. She believes in order to create real organizational change we need to approach it in a holistic way that acknowledges the interconnectedness of all parts of the whole. Being of service is what nourishes her both professionally and personally. Outside of TREC, Ellie is a mindfulness teacher and practitioner; she is active in the Thich Nhat Hanh community and serves on the Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation.
