Passionate activists strive to succeed in their work – and what it takes to succeed seems more demanding by the day. Combine this drive with heavy workloads and increasingly complex environmental and political contexts, and the challenge to do even “good enough” work can be exhausting.
In this webinar, we’ll cover skills and practices to support your staff to be and feel effective, focusing on not only what they are doing but how they are leveraging strategies to stay in the work for the long-term. We’ll walk through practices to support your staff’s ongoing development, which is an increasing priority amongst staff and a foundation for keeping everyone engaged and motivated. One of the greatest challenges as supervisors is to help your team prioritize their well-being, so we will also cover skills and practices to help staff support their well-being and build their resilience.
All webinars in the Supervisors Training Series will start with a 60-minute webinar followed by a 30-minute interactive breakout session. In the breakout sessions, you, as a participant, will have the opportunity to dive deeper into the session content with a small group of attendees—discussing your challenges and opportunities, and answering questions. TREC team members will facilitate breakout sessions.
Breakout sessions are optional and not a requirement for attending the webinar. The breakouts will not be recorded. Webinar attendance is limited to the first 100 participants who log in.
